The Red Rocks Ampitheatre in Morrison, Colo., was on lockdown early Friday morning after an issue involving safety, the Jefferson County, Colo., Sheriff’s Office confirmed early Friday morning.

KUSA television reported at least three people were hurt in a shooting near the venue after a concert. The three were in a white SUV when the shooter hit them, and the SUV then fled to another location, where emergency workers were able to assist the three who were hurt, KUSA reported.

No one was being allowed in or out of Red Rocks while authorities search for the shooter, the sheriff’s office said.

The ampitheatre is a geological formation that serves as an outdoor concert venue and park. According to the Red Rocks website, rapper Nas was the featured headliner Thursday night.
